tool which assesses the client and environmental factors
that contribute to falls and identifies individuals who are at high risk for injurious falls.
IRF is an assessment tool similar
to the MDS but used in Rehab units.

page) assessment tool. Can be used for the admission and the 14

assessment.

Swing Bed is a module which is
specifically designed and used by rural hospitals or long term care
facilities.
Fluid Balance is a module that tracks the fluid intake and output of each resident.
It also provides the average intake over a selected report period.
This module can be used to help determine how questions J1c and K6b should be answered on MDS assessments.
Food Intake is a module that tracks percentage of each meal that is eaten every day for a resident.
It also provides alerts when the percentage is below 50%. The module also allows the recording of complaints about the food.
