WinCare supports the following operating systems:

• Windows 2000
• XP Professional

WinCare does not support Windows 98 or home edition of XP or home edition of Vista.

From time to time, it is necessary to transfer executable files and databases and in some cases fix problems on your machine remotely. In these situations, WinCare requires you (WinCare's Client) to have PcAnywhere version 11.0 host/remote Software installed on one of your computers. This is a REQUIREMENT in these kinds of situations.

It is recommended to install PcAnywhere version 11.0 software on a machine that has broadband internet access and if broadband internet access is not available, the software can be installed on any WinCare PC that has a modem and phone line.

NOTE: Please update your WinCare software immediately after receiving the update from WinCare. WinCare software updates will update from the last update, but not from two (2) or three (3) previous updates. Updates must be updated in order, i.e, 3.6 to 3.7, 3.7 to 4.11, 4.11 to 4.12, etc. For example, you cannot go from 3.7 directly to 4.13.
